Parry Thomas in his Thomas Special wearing the first rounder two seater body before it was rebuilt into a flat-iron shape. Both this and the photo of the Leyland-Thomas are in T.R. Nicholson's "Sprint"

i have the silver medal which shows that J E P Howey beat ParryThomas into 2nd place in this event. Press caption at the time indicates ParryThomas was driving no 57. Could Howey have driven 89 and not Parry Thomas?
