Aviation grounded EC Gordon-England used his knowledge of aviation engineering to create motor vehicle bodies. He moved to premises at Wembley from Putney, and produced several designs on Austin Seven chassis' as well as the later visually similar Morris Minor Semi-Sport bodies. The GE Stadium named after the Wembley premises, was produced with a fabric-over-ply body, like the Minor, but also in the alloy form seen above. GE produced these from about 1925 to 1929. B-C was operating out of West End Lane, Kilburn.

Hi Wesley - I was interested to read your question about the Gordon England Cup cars - please forgive my curiosity, and tell me how two of them come to be at Wembley Stadium? I am compiling a register of surviving Gordon England cars, and am building one of my own. Best regards, David
