I suggest this is H.J. Aldington (Aldy) in his 1.5 litre supercharged Anzani engined Frazer Nash (Chassis no 2002, Reg MY 3940) cf From Chain Gang to Turbocharger pp 34 +38 by Denis Jenkinson publ Patrick Stephens 1984

I knew this car in the early 1960s when it was owned by Ken Higgs of Birstall near Leicester. Ken had rebuilt the car from a virtual wreck and used it to win the 'Nash Bash' at VSCC Oulton Park in I think 1962. In 1963? Ken sold the car to Jack Bond of Vintage Autos in London who advertised it as a historic racing car with a photo of it competing at Brooklands at a price (from memory) of £750. The car went to New Zealand where it still resides. When Ken had the car it had an unblown Anzani fitted, ironically Ken was offered the correct supercharger a few weeks after he sold it.
