the car is shown negotiating the Innenheim corner of the 1922 French Grand Prix course near Strasbourg ( Düttlenheim-Entzheim-Innenheim) The Epreuve de Tourisme was a supporting race of the 1922 French Grand Prix. The Bignan is turning from what is now route D 1422 into what is nowadays route D 147 in the outskirts of the town. The building seen at the back of the car (the one with the Dunlop Cord and the Persan publicity banners) can still be seen today.
