I believe that W Vincent was a director of the motor firm Vincents of Reading. He owned a number of veterans, including the Benz shown bearing this trade plate in the 1927 event.

This is correct. It is chassis number 50, originally registered in 1900 as BW 33 in Oxfordshire. That number was lost when the car was off the road and it has been registered BW 64 since the 1960's.
