I used to fix Sammys Frogeye sprite back in seventies. I worked for Mann Egerton in Guldford. Didnt know who he was till i took him home one day and saw all the trophies. Will never forget, wonderfull experience.

This is Dunfee at the wheel. Sammy Davis stepped in to drive at the last moment and drove bare headed. At this race Old Number One had been fitted with a stumpy tailed two-seater body which made the handling "interesting".
