    No 1 is Campbell, 2 Howe. The three Bentleys in this race were the blower 4 1/2s of the Birkin/Paget team, no 8 Birkin himself in UU 5872, no 6 Beris Harcourt-Wood in the prototype YU 3250, and no 7 behind Jean Chassagne in UR 6751. No 9 is B O Davis in a blown 3-litre Sunbeam.
