Collecting for the start of the Addlestone Junior Short Handicap. No 12 is the Frazer Nash of A K Kirkaldy, 11 the Austin of W M Couper, then the Wolseley Hornet of D L Briault. No 1 is the Invicta of R Morgan.

I am not sure that it is R.C. Robert Morgan in the Invicta. I knew Robert and his wife, Marion very well during their last years in the 1970s. They had a very comprehensive record of their motorsport involvement, which included racing the Aston Martin 'Green Pea' and construction details of their 750cc racer, which though not completed, still exists. For personal reasons, they had to give up racing and took up farming in Kent. While in Kent, they had a Bertelli built Aston Martin. But in all our conversations, never once was an Invicta mentioned.
