This is the approach to Bluehills Mine from the north side of Trevallas Combe. Apart from the tarmaced road, today's view is virtually unchanged. Andrew.
438 is W Boulton, WO8587; 440 J L Blackwood Murray (both Austin 7) and 441 G F Smith in a 1498cc Riley possibly CR924 (without the 1 at the end?)
Just looked at the original scan, it's definitely CR 9241.
