This is Clutterbuck's Car, SD 12/50 Car No 10182, Reg'd TX2177 in Penarth 14/01/1927. He retired with clutch slip, but finished sixth in th JCC 4 hours Sporting Car Race later in the year ( See fotos...) Car is a very early SD, at this time on 23" split rims and with a 4.33:1 rear axle ratio. Car survives in Suffolk with the writer.
