Isn't it October 3 meeting? I don't know if MCC was its organizer but John Cobb won Senior Long Handicap at that meeting. Reliability trials were different kind of competition.

That certainly seems more likely. The October 3 meeting was organised by the Essex MC, and George Duller's Bugatti won the Junior Long Handicap at that meeting.

This is John Warde's Fiat, which he kept at Parry Thomas' garage. John Cobb won the Long Handicap at 107.34 mph. In practice for the Witsun meeting in 1926 the engine blew up and the car was off the track until Easter 1927.
