The Talbot is the secret 10/23 engined 8/18 special that Balby road and Gorges Roesch created to test high compression/large valves and high revs with the ohv bathtub 4 cylinder engine this car was Known as the Q10 Racer and was broken up "so they say" when the Brooklands track with Segrave said that the car could not handle the bumps ( power output was better than what Coatalen could get from his DOHC Talbot Darracqs per litre). I believe that Field drove this car at Brighton. I have other photos of this car from the off side and there are many features that comfirm my deductions. I would welcome comments from enthusiasts as I am half way through recreating this "Special " Talbot.

Which is the Talbot? No.28 looks like a 12/50 Alvis to me, with perhaps a Bentley between it and the AC.
