This is private entrant Ted Marsh (father of Tony Marsh the 1960's hill climb champion) in his 1928 Riley Brooklands UY 4322 with H T Guest as riding mechanic (to whom he sold the car) in The Forty-Sixth 75 mph Long Handicap on Easter Monday April 1st 1929. The Wolsley is listed in the race card as Capt A G Miller's 1261cc Wolsley Moth II and driven by K Eggar. It is presently on show at Brooklands museum. The race was won by V E Horsman in an 832cc Triumph, with Marsh coming second.
