The leading car no 7 is the FWD Alvis of John B Rooper, and no 6 is the similar car of Archie Gripper. Both were ex-1928 TT cars, Rooper's thought to be the spare team car and Gripper's that driven in the TT by Bill Urquhart Dykes.
